The Ravenlok developers recently praised Xbox Game Pass for helping the studio find success with its games, and it's easy to see why. Ravenlok isn't a particularly long game, but it does enrapture your senses for the entirety of its brief campaign, and is being very well-received as a day one addition to Xbox Game Pass.

Ravenlok is the latest voxel-style game from developer Cococucumber, and it's a gorgeous, short adventure following the tale of a young woman trapped in a terrifying fairy tale-esque world. Available: May 4 (Xbox Series X|S Optimized, Xbox One, Windows PC, & Xbox Cloud Gaming). For the fans of heavy narratives and JRPGs, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 is a fantastic addition to your backlog. Set a year after the events of the first games, players will once again be tasked with marching into brutal warzones, this time with a mission to save your loved ones.

You'll rarely go wrong with the diverse selection of games on Xbox Game Pass, but there are always a handful of titles that stand above the rest - including, but not limited to, exceptional indie games, addictive multiplayer games, expansive AAA games, and Microsoft's first-party titles and projects.
